The name Yidovî-ila Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Yidovî-ila Bî was founded by Crypcata Tshêth Trthênme, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Yidovî-ila Bî has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 17°C (62°F). Yidovî-ila Bî receives an average of 278 cm/y (109 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Yidovî-ila Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1668 m (5472 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Yidovî-ila Bî was founded durring the late 15th century in fall of the year 1386, by Crypcata Tshêth Trthênme. The establishment of Yidovî-ila Bî was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Crypcata Tshêth Trthênme struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Yidovî-ila Bî as a prison colony.
Yidovî-ila Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Yidovî-ila Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Yidovî-ila Bî is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad flagstone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The town's brittle defences are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
A look around Yidovî-ila Bî gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. This all rests atop the unmistakable impression the town is one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which Yidovî-ila Bî brings to mind.
Civic Infrastructure

Yidovî-ila Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Yidovî-ila Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Yidovî-ila Bî possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Yidovî-ila Bî's grid is powered by mana accumulators.
Yidovî-ila Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Yidovî-ila Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.
Yidovî-ila Bî's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
In Yidovî-ila Bî during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.
The Kamadan near Yidovî-ila Bî are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
Yidovî-ila Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves consuming a local toxin to channel Truename Magic energies of tier 2 via recitation of poetic epics.
